Mission

     “The mission of the Center for Supply Chain Management at Central Michigan University is to conduct applied research and provide other valuable services such as professional roundtables, seminars, and training programs in close collaboration with Michigan businesses to the mutual benefit of CMU and the business community.”

Goals

The CSCM’s short-term goal is to successfully establish the Center for Supply Chain Management, to conduct SCM needs assessment survey and to establish relationships with Michigan businesses.

    The CSCM will provide enhanced professional opportunities for students and faculty, while assisting the university to meet several strategic goals:

  • The Center will incorporate applied research to on-campus educational programs.

  • The Center will strive to advance CMU’s collaboration and enhanced professional relationships with Michigan businesses.

  • The Center will generate added value for existing education programs and provide opportunities for faculty and students to advance their knowledge and skills.

  • The Center will strive to assist in the economic development of the State of Michigan .

The CSCM’s long-term goal is to become a recognized statewide resource for applied research, dissemination of knowledge and professional services related to Supply Chain Management.
